We are delighted to announce the launch last week of the British Pest Control Association’s new site! Back in the summer of 2016 we began working on the site you see at the moment, which is just the first stage of their website launch. Phase 2 of launch will come later this year and boast a custom built ‘Find a Pest Controller’ tool.

About the BPCA’s project
Our experience in working within the third sector is what drew them to us and they sought to increase the number of users and grow their membership as a whole. Their members are looking to generate more business within the industry and the website is a valuable tool which puts them on the map, this and the creditability of the BPCA name draws in members.
Key features
As well as a modernised look and more user-friendly style, the site demonstrates a number of key features. They have an updated events hub with a section dedicated solely to training, and their team page and timeline are all designed to reflect the organisation’s openness and inclusivity.
A favourite section of the site on our part is their A-Z of pests, which showcases some on-brand icons that our design team relished creating. Member areas are customised depending on what member-type is using them, and their news section is enabled with Disqus to encourage communication and debate between members. Finally the whole website is integrated to their membership CRM, OM.Net.
Achievements
Months before launch, the BPCA selected us to work on some offline materials for their upcoming event, PestEx. PestEx is the largest UK trade exhibition and conference for the pest control industry, hosted by the BPCA every two years. They required the design of a professional exhibition stand for which the branding needed to be in line with the design of the new website. This project received some really positive feedback;
Everyone seems happy so far. Thanks again for your support with this project. Hopefully we can push a lot more design work through you guys in the future… Particularly impressed with the quick turn around.
